Ah, my first online course completed! I’m working toward my degree in Business Administration and had to create my own personal code of ethics As I mentioned this to a co-worker yesterday someone asked if no one knows them then how will anyone know you’re living by them. So I decided to post them, but with a challenge for those who read them to do the same if you haven’t already. I was supposed to come up with five, I chose nine. Of course I could add to them and I will, probably should have included that as one of them.
The entire paper is too long to post, but to give you an idea my opening paragraphs summarized how I developed this code. What did I discover about myself? Am I currently using it, is it something I aspire to be, or both? Do I refer to it on a regular basis? Hmmmm…
After listing them I explained the reasons behind them and why I will do what I say I will do. For here I’m just going to give you some highlights of what I wrote for each.
I will love God with all my heart, soul and mind. – Jesus made it clear to us what our first priority ought to be when He was confronted by a Pharisee
I will love others as much as I love myself. – This is the kind of love that wins hearts for Christ and opens doors for people to know Him.
I will put my family first, after God and before anything else. – My family is a gift from God I have learned to cherish.
I will be sensitive to other’s needs and help them if I am able. – When someone is in need I see it as another opportunity to share the love of Christ.
I will be honest. – It’s important to me that those I influence see honesty in me. To me it is a universal language of integrity and is a gateway to trust.
I will treat others with kindness and respect. – I do not always know what someone else is going through and a kind word or action is a seed with potential to grow.
I will forgive. – This can be extremely difficult, but I am reminded daily that I am forgiven.
I will walk in excellence. – I want to represent God and His Kingdom well.
I will seek and apply wisdom when I make decisions. – Life is full of choices and my decisions have the inherent capacity to affect generations to come.

Awesome!!! That’s so cool that you’re doing online schooling too. Anthony is just about to finish his second semester doing it. I’m considering it myself. Just not sure exactly what I will go for just yet.
Whenever you’re ready, just shoot me your wordpress log-in info. In my spare time i’ll spruce up your blog for ya no prob. I hope you have an amazing day!!!
