What can I say, the title says it all. Yes I am awake and actually it is 4:29 am and I have been awake for 1 1/2 hours. So I can not be responsible for what I write, right?
Ok, so we’re at the fair last night. We had met up with some friends and between us all we had about a ton a kids which we were all keeping an eye on them like watchdogs. We went from ride to ride and of course they all wanted to ride the ones that do the most twisting and turning. Lately my stomach has been a little queezy and I had a hard time just watching the rides let alone ride them. There’s always one child that does the inevitable, yes the hurl. This year we had the honors of taking that trophy home. Felicia was doing ok with some slight dizziness from a couple of rides. Then she chose to ride the one her dad said he didn’t think it would be a good idea to ride. We both knew what was going to happen, but decided to give her some decision power. Do I need to write any further. Of course I do, I must include the details. Shortly after the ride began Michael could see her lift her hand to her mouth. Yup, it was about to happen and she couldn’t do anything about it. She managed to make it through most of the ride until she could hold it in no longer. She hurled just as the ride was ending. The ride attendant didn’t realize what happened but saw her not looking so well and asked her if she was ok. As soon as he found out what happened he cleared a path for her to get off, quickly. She told us later that she was trying so hard not to throw up and that she started to and swallowed it. Ok I just got queezy writing that, I may have to…
Back to the 3 am wake up thing. I blame it all on the greasy cheeseburger and fries and the funnel cake I had at 9 pm. Great food though. Of course it provoked a couple of strange dreams. In one I was running a race on a dirt track. When I crossed the finish line I was told I ran a mile in twenty minutes. That is horrible. It was all that food weighing me down, yae right. In the other dream I had just finished dancing in one of GAFA’s production which I had agreed to two weeks prior the event. As I was walking up some stairs to go gather some children I was thinking I will never do that again. I love to dance and even took some dance lessons when I was a kid and more recently within the last couple of years. I would really like to do that again but without the pressure of being in a production. It’s great exercise and I do not like the usual form of excercise so it works for me. So if anyone from GAFA is reading this maby next year one of you talented instructors could teach a class for the older just want to dance without being in the production people. Maby?
Michael just woke up and just reminded me that this morning is our physicals for our life insurance policies and we can’t drink or eat anything except water. He emphasized no coffee. What!? No coffee!? This is another horrible dream right!?

Hi My Dear Sister,
Well, I wrote you a comment, but I guess it was rejected – not quite sure where it went. So, I’ll make this brief. It was super to be able to share your life with you since you live a distance away from me.
Great writing!
Love, Michele

you poor baby! We went last year & couldn’t figure out why no one was enjoying the fair. Went home that night & three kids came down with the stomach flu. No wonder they were turning green!
Feeling selfish as I have been praying, “Lord please let my house sell, not hang around on the market trying to get sold or rented or SOMETHING for months and months like Lori & Mike’s!”
I wish I was a more steadfast pray-er, but I have not forgotten your plight (totally) in the midst of mine. Hope all is well.

cam was very happy to pass the puke award off to someone else this year. he was so proud of his iron stomach. i see you conveniently left off the “pawn the hurl” story. or, maybe your saving that one for a special blog?
